Biography
Dr. Haider is an Assistant Professor of Medicine of Tufts University Medical School. He received his medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York. After that he stayed on to do his Internal Medicine training at the Montefiore Medical Center of Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He then went on to complete his Cardiology Fellowship at North Shore/LIJ-Hofstra University School of Medicine in Long Island, and subsequently did an additional year of fellowship in Interventional and Endovascular Cardiology at New York Presbyterian Hospital at Weil-Cornell Medical School in the Upper East Side of New York City.
Dr. Haider is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Diseases, Echocardiography, Nuclear Cardiology, Interventional Cardiology, and vascular ultrasound. He is well versed in all aspects of cardiology, and his areas of interest include coronary angioplasty and interventions, and the treatment of peripheral vascular disease as well as structural heart disease. Over the years, he has published research in the areas of acute coronary syndromes, congestive heart failure, and valvular heart disease.
