Care for COVID-19

We are prepared to help you

Continuing Care for COVID-19

The novel coronavirus (COVID-19) has tremendously disrupted families, health care and nearly every other aspect of society over the past several months. Studies of the virus and efforts to develop vaccines and treatments are ongoing worldwide, and our affiliates at Mass General Brigham remain engaged at the highest levels of research and clinical trials that currently define the cutting edge of the COVID-19 struggle.

Thanks to your self-care and social distancing efforts, we have been fortunate that the virus has remained at relatively manageable levels in our region – our front line workers are immensely grateful to you as a community for helping to make this possible, and we continue to encourage preventive behaviors even as we look forward to transitioning toward reopening according to state requirements and recommended best practices for public health.

  • Symptoms and Testing

Assessment of suspected COVID-19 symptoms and evaluation for testing is a process that begins with your primary care provider. If you suspect that you are ill with coronavirus, contact your PCP first. If you do not have a primary care provider, we have many that are accepting new patients in several cities and towns in the region.
